Capturing the energy of Ohio Black Expo’s Riverfront Culture Fest, from the main stage to the dance floor.

01The challenge

For more than 30 years, Ohio Black Expo has celebrated African American culture in business, health and family. The Riverfront Culture Fest packs a main stage, vendors, sponsors and crowds into one outdoor weekend on the river. The coverage had to keep up with all of it and still feel like being there.

02Our approach

We worked the festival on foot and from our own branded basecamp tent, capturing stage performances, sponsor activations, crowd moments and line dancing on the riverfront. Everything was shot in 4K at 60 fps for smooth motion, then cut into a fast, music-driven highlight film with branded bookends.
