Hi! My name is Aarius Dumas. I am a Creative with many tools to my arsenal, and I'm very passionate and dedicated to my work. I started my journey 2008 where I sought out the skills to design graphics and build webpapges. Photography was a next step then in 2016 I started investing in videography skills and equipment. By far my most expensive endeavor and most rewarding. Being able to capture the tone and feeling of a moment in real time and being able to share it with others is what motivates me in my work. Cinematic Videography consists of more than pointing the camera at a subject and pressing record. It is a technique that allows one person to share the feeling, tone and presence of live action in a way that makes the viewer feel something. It embodies the subtext of the action that is unfolding.
Taking pictures is one thing but not the most important thing about photography. It is a practice of controlling light. I can change the mood and feel of a subject by altering the light in a way that speaks to the scenses of the observer.
